Sharing or Disclosure of Personal Information

We do not share or otherwise disclose any personal information you provide to us online, including your name, address, phone number or email address, with other organizations without your consent unless required by law (for example, as explained below, federal law requires us to use best efforts to collect and report to the Federal Election Commission campaign contributors' names, addresses, employers, and occupations), or as needed to respond to legal process or court orders, or as needed to demonstrate our compliance with federal election law. Protection of Personal and Financial Information

The Steve Clark for Congress has put in place appropriate security measures to protect your personal and financial information. In addition, our physical facilities are protected against the loss or misuse of information that we have collected from you at our site. When you contribute online, we use a secure server and Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") to protect your credit card number and other personal information during transmission. SSL is a protocol developed by Netscape for secure transmission of private information over the Internet. SSL works by using a private key to encrypt data that are transmitted over the SSL connection. All recently-released web browsers support SSL. Web pages that require an SSL connection begin with "https" rather than "http." SSL uses 128-bit encryption within the U.S. and 64-bit encryption internationally. For more information on SSL,
please visit Netscape's website.
